OT Wheel Trueing Robot



The OT has the same Flexibility as the SG but the wheel is trued from the outer side. This ‘Scratch Free Trueing’ process is a big advantage for colored nipples and the OT can true the newest wheel designs with inverted nipples. Very useful for high-end carbon rims with integrated nipples and fat bike rims.

The stabilizing option consists out of two rubber pressure points coming in from both sides of the wheel. This process is used to divide the tension over all spokes equally and at the same time it seats the nipples better in the rim. There are two kinds of stabilizers available, the frequency stabilizer and the regular stabilizer as seen in the video.

Spoke Tension Measurement

The recently developed ATA or Advanced Trueing Algorithm option less than a quarter of the time to process the wheel. But above all, the differences in quality of the final products have been reduced to previously unheard of levels. The ATA even allows a setting of no more than 0.2 millimeter deviation sideways and in height. This has been possible by developing an algorithm which, after changing the settings of one spoke, calculates the differences in tension of all spokes.

TCS - Torque Control System

The torque control system is an OT only option which grabs the spoke at the moment of tightening. This prevents the spoke from twisting along with the nipple. The major benefit of this option is that the wheel quality remains constant, even after the trueing process.


The ACCU option is used to measure the deviation in the hub. By spinning the hub back and forth quickly the robot analyses the deviation and adjusts the trueing process to it.


During the trueing process there is a chance that spokes twist a little along with the nipple. Dewinding puts pressure on one side of the rim, this ensures that the spokes are getting under pressure. Because of this pressure the spoke is stretched out like a cord so the twist disappears. 

Outside Trueing

The Robot OT trues the wheel from the outer side of the rim. This allows the machine to handle the most versatile wheel designs. Besides, there won't be a single scratch visible on the nipples.

QR & Barcode Scanning

With the introduction of QR and barcode identification systems on the rim, riders can scan the wheel with their smartphone and receive a complete overview of wheel-data. This way cyclists see when, where and how their wheels were made and are able to see a complete analysis of the wheel quality. Besides the personal advantages, OEM’s can keep track of ownership so that they can give you more personal service in case of warranty or even loyalty guarantee.
